During my short stay in Hokitika, in New Zealand’s Wild Coast, I got to experience two amazing sunsets, which are definitely some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen.
Travelling off-season, I was lucky to encounter long stretches of beaches I could walk around without seeing another person for hours. After two days with very little human contact, I feel a little alone, but this experience also gave me plenty of time to think about everything that was going on in my life, especially as I was on my way to a whole new chapter, moving to Australia for a year.
I enjoyed the sunsets (and the rest f the day) on my lonesome, but still had a great time, accompanied by good music and some local kiwi wine!
