Darwin, Australia: Mindil Beach Sunset

Located an easy 20-minute walk away from the Central Business District of the city of Darwin in Northern Territory, Australia, is Mindil Beach. Beaches in Darwin are not recommended for swimming due to the possibility of deadly salt water crocodiles and jellyfish inhabiting its shores, but the beach itself is quite beautiful.

I visited the beach in June 2011, during the popular Mindil Beach Sunset Markets, which occur every Thursday and Sunday in the dry season, at sunset.
